“Unfortunately, I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy,” she said, opening up about her feelings. I had to grieve for a while about it.” For more than ten years, Selena has struggled with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease. She required a kidney transplant in 2017 as a result of the illness, which caused a serious health crisis.
