It seems like Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have gotten engaged!
Tuesday, April 11, the 19-year-old Stranger Things actress and her 20-year-old actor boyfriend shared what appears to be their happy news on Instagram. Brown posted a picture of herself on the beach wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while Bongiovi is hugging her. The caption of the black and white snapshot featured lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” as it read, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍.”
Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, posted a photo of himself and Brown hugging on the beach from a different angle. His post also featured a picture of the couple looking affectionately at each other while on a boat. “Forever 🤍,” he captioned his post.
Brown received congratulations from her friends, with former Extra host Mark Wright commenting, “Congrats guys xx,” and his sister Jessica Wright adding, “Ommmmggggg congratulations!!!!!!!!! @milliebobbybrown this is amazing. So so happy for you darling 🎊✨🤍.”
Holly, the daughter of Gordon Ramsay, also expressed her good wishes, writing, “Congratulations 🫶🏻❤️!! Xx.”
Brown and Bongiovi first sparked rumors of a romantic relationship in June 2021 when they posted a selfie together on Instagram. Bongiovi captioned the picture with the words “bff” and a heart emoji.
Their relationship became official on Instagram in November of the same year, with Brown sharing a photo of the two kissing on the London Eye on November 1, 2021.
They have since been seen together at various Hollywood events, such as the red carpet at the Stranger Things season 4 premiere and the British Academy Film Awards. Additionally, Brown has shared snapshots of their daily adventures on her Instagram.
In January 2023, Brown referred to Bongiovi as her “partner for life.” Then, in February, Bongiovi paid tribute to Brown on her 19th birthday by sharing several affectionate snapshots on Instagram.
In his post, he shared multiple pictures, including one of the couple taking a nap in the sun, while the others showed them having fun in a pool, taking selfies, and enjoying nature. Bongiovi wrote in the caption, “Another year around the sun together happy 19th to the girl of my dreams. I love you more than words can describe. Everything about you is golden down to the core ❤️.”
