Blake Lively recently revealed how she honored her son Olin’s first birthday funnily and unusually. Known for her passion for baking, the 36-year-old actress talked about the special cake she created for the occasion in an interview with “Zoe Ball and Friends” on BBC Radio 2. Actor Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively disclosed that she made a unique “boob cake” to commemorate the occasion for their youngest child.
According to Blake Lively, “My birthday cakes always have a little bit of a sense of humor,” from the August 16 Instagram post including the interview. She continued, “For my baby, I just did a giant set of t—,” referring to her son. Then, joking about the possible long-term effects of her creation, the It Ends with Us star said, “Which I feel like will haunt him for life.” What do they want at one, though? He is unable to express his desires. Thus, breasts!”
The Cake’s Big Reveal
Blake Lively offered to show the team and host Zoe Ball a picture of the cake as the conversation continued, engaging them in lively banter. Smiles, Blake Lively added, “I will show you a picture after, they are very stunning,” then clarified, “Of the cake, not of mine… Amazing as well, though.” As she was ready to leave, the actress excitedly told the crew, “The cake is incredible, you do need to see that cake! Everyone must see the cake.”
After being married in 2012, Blake Lively and Reynolds had four daughters: Betty, age 4, James, age 9, and Inez, age 7. In February 2023, Olin, their youngest child, was born.
Ryan Reynolds Shares Family Details
The pair, well-known for keeping family affairs quiet, recently revealed a few more information about their newest member. Reynolds, 47, disclosed Olin’s gender on Instagram in July after a tearful conversation with Wrexham AFC supporter John Bell. In a touching note, Reynolds wrote, “I want to share with you that I too have a son and that if … boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I have done a pretty damn good job.”
Reynolds revealed Olin’s identity earlier in July during a speech at the Deadpool & Wolverine New York City premiere at the David H. Koch Theater. In addition to expressing his affection for his family by naming each of his children individually, he said, “I love that my entire family is here.”
Reynolds revealed during a 2022 interview on the Today show that the pair never finds out the gender of their infants until after they are born, even though they typically keep family matters private. Blake Lively was expecting Olin at the moment.
