The suspect has been identified in a puzzling Trump campaign office burglary that took place in Virginia.
A suspect has been identified by the authorities in relation to a recent break-in at a Virginia Trump for President 2024 campaign office. For the charge of burglary, Toby Shane Kessler, 39, has an arrest warrant issued by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Incident Details of Trump Campaign Office Burglary
The campaign headquarters in Ashburn had a break-in on Sunday night at around 8:11 p.m. Law police said that the suspect forced entry through a back door and spent a short time inside before leaving. The CCTV equipment at the office recorded the event.
Currently, investigators are determining if anything was taken from the premises during the incident. “He appears to have left nothing behind, and it is still unclear what, if anything, he took with him,” the sheriff’s office said. The investigation remains active.
Suspect Description and Background
The guy is seen on camera carrying a rucksack and dressed in dark clothing, including a hat. According to the authorities, Kessler is a California driver’s license holder without a permanent residence.
According to the sheriff’s office, “Mr. Kessler has a history of criminal behavior and appears to have been in the Washington metropolitan area at least since 2018.”
Law Enforcement Response
To find Kessler, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is working with other law enforcement organizations. Also, they have appealed for help from the public. And asked that anybody who knows where Kessler is to call them at 571-918-1869.
The targeted office serves dual purposes, functioning as both a Trump campaign office and the headquarters for the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.

Jason Miyares, the attorney general of Virginia, is keeping a careful eye on the issue. Furthermore, in a statement, press secretary Chloe Smith said, “It’s abhorrent that someone would break into a political office. Virginia does not condone criminal activity.”
