Hi, my name is Shivam Sharma and I am a freelance content creator. I have been traveling around the places, exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and sharing my experiences with others via my social media account @shivamvlog. To tell more about myself, my hometown is in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district, and being born in the mountains always fascinated me.
The short hikes with my father and grandfather to the nearby villages had a big impact on the way I started to see the world and developed this sight of exploring new places and cultures at quite an early age. I started my journey of traveling with the food, different cuisines, different places, and different learnings every single time.
I believe, all of this opens up vast opportunities for us to understand more about ourselves and about the people, which I feel is the most beautiful gift of traveling. It makes you wonder like a child and wise at the same time. Capturing the connections with a place and portraying the stories from some of the most exciting times during my journeys has been motivating me to work more and more every day. Traveling has helped me overcome the hesitation and now I have been taking other people alongside me to see the unseen beauty our country has to offer.
During the last 3 years of exploring different places, I have traveled from the Cold Deserts of the Spiti in North to the Warmest places of India in Thar, have hiked 100s of km through the remote villages and passes of Himachal Pradesh to the divine shrines of the Uttarakhand, all of this sometimes solo, sometimes with a group of friends and few times with the family.
I always suggest people at least visit one new place a year and see how different a person you’ll be, as they say, life is the best teacher and Nature is the best classroom. Every time, each city I visited, every dish I tasted, and every ride I took had its own experience I have shared it on my Instagram and Youtube and you can check all of it, relive what I witnessed in real life in a virtual way. So pack your bags and take a bus/train/flight or pick up your car/bike and hover through to the next destination.
