To continue pursuing your education, you have to have an end goal in mind, and you have to stay engaged. Not all educational programs are engaging, and thus, some students easily fall off the bandwagon and do not get to achieve their dreams. Mohamad Younes shares his tips on how to make learning more fun and engaging.
Mohamad Younes is a 37-year-old nurse, entrepreneur, and educator raised in Lebanon. For 15 years of his career, he was a certified pediatric, hematology, and oncology nurse. Although he loved his job, he knew there was something bigger waiting for him. Mohamad always found the education side of nursing a little disengaging, which is where he found the entrepreneurial gap in the market. Thus, he is now an educational coach who mentors nursing students on how to pass their board exams. Through his online business, Mohamad has increased his monthly wage from $3,000 to $400,000. He has educated over 3,000 students till now and poured his experience into theirs to ensure they get the best possible outcome in their careers.
Mohamad Younes acknowledges that staying engaged with a subject can be challenging, especially in the nursing industry, as there is so much to learn and understand. Thus, through his mentoring, he ensures to make learning as fun and as engaging as possible. He says to learn in any business, you need to master your emotions. Mohamad’s tip to make your education more fun is to decide what makes you happy, sad, frustrated, and what motivates you. When you can distinguish and master these emotions, you will be able to stay better engaged with learning.
A final tip Mohamad wants to share with everyone, which he always teaches his students, is to know what your end goal is. There is no use in educating yourself in an area that isn’t going to help you achieve your end goal. When you decide what you want your future to hold, you can build strategies and work out how to aim in the right direction.
