Rohit is the son of an Indian businessmen Mr. Gulshan Gill and his late mother Mrs. Renu Gill. As a young man, he trained himself in gymnastic and his first movie role, nonspeaking and uncredited, was as a patient in Rakkhosh (2019). He worked in his father’s cable business in the city and look after the accounts, provide assistance to customers and even take care of the collection. He appeared in several web series and short films before being offered role in Rakkhosh (2019) directed by Abhijit Kokate. It was in those early stages of his career that he took the professional name Rohit Gill.
