A Discussion on Cyber Frauds and Criminals with India’s 1st Cyber Cop

India’s dependence on Information Technology is increasing day by day as more advances are being made. However, this has also increased the risk of cybercrime being committed on the citizens. While Indians are using the internet for fulfilling their needs, cyber criminals are out there willing to exploit them. Online banking, data storage, communication, etc. – everything is exposed to be committed cyber crime on.

Dealing with such cybercrime cases on a daily basis, Prof. Triveni Singh is going to speak in the event, ‘A Discussion on Cyber Frauds and Criminals’ which is being organized by Dynamic CIO, on 20 Aug at 5 PM – 6PM Indian Standard Time.

Prof Triveni Singh IPS is India’s most of most popular Cops and India’s first cyber cop who has Authored four Cyber Crime Books based on Real Incidents. Prof. Singh has been honored with several distinctions, including President Medal for Gallantry by The President of India and Certificate of Honor by Director, CBI. He was also conferred with India Cyber Cop of the year award, 2012 by DSCI-NASSCOM. He has been awarded at various national and international platforms for his contribution to controlling cybercrimes.

He is currently posted as Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Uttar Pradesh. His core task is to investigate complex cyber crime cases and provide administrative and technical supervision to 18 cyber crime police stations located at all commissionerates in Uttar Pradesh. He is an expert in cracking complex cybercrime and financial fraud cases and has a wide exposure in investigating cases related to anti-corruption, vigilance, economic offences, money laundering and cyber crimes.
