Charlie Vox is a singer, songwriter, producer from Jersey City, New Jersey. Collectively, she has sold over 10 million records worldwide. Charlie’s mother discovered she could sing at the tender age of 3. Like most singers, her talent was honed in the church choir. Today, she is a multi-faceted artist and a rising dance artist.
After shopping a demo early in her career, music executives took notice of her writing capability. Since then, she has gained a wealth of insight working alongside great names in the music industry. Together, she and her writing partner Curtis Richa (collectively known as “The Conglomerate) have collaborated with top producers such as “The Interns”, Stargate, and CID. Charlie experienced song writing success penning “Final Goodbye” for Rihanna’s sophomore album, A Girl Like Me and Melanie Fiona’s “Monday Morning”. She’s also written for Japanese superstars Kumi Koda, Naime Amuro, and Crystal Kay.
In addition to songwriting, Charlie toured as a background vocalist for Estelle and rendered her voice to the widely popular Vevo YouTube show “Hot This Week”. When it comes to song lyrics, Charlie states: “It’s important to me that I write from an honest space; that I am transparent with my audience.
Whether I’m expressing words of heartbreak or delight and happiness, I want to be able to reach people who may be experiencing similar circumstances. “She currently celebrates the release of her dance single “Freedom”, produced by legendary House DJ Junior Sanchez.
