Meet Suhail Raja an aspiring theatre actor from kashmir valley

Suhail Parray known as Suhail Raja. He is 24 years old. Basically from Rawalpora srinagar. By profession Raja is an actor doing Theatre acting from last three years out of the valley. He worked with different theatre groups around india. He played many characters for different shows. He also did a lot of workshops, stage plays, street plays, short movies and all in various places of india. Suhail Raja also performed a role of assistant Director in play called “UTOPIA”

Suhail Raja said: I was doing final semester of my mechanical engineering diploma when I started attending some acting workshops. But after finished studying diploma I went Mumbai, Chandigarh and delhi for the thetre groups. I did a lot of tours with my theatre groups around india. I have worked with some big stars of Bollywood like RAJIT KAPUR, ASHWATH BHATT.

I also worked with Katkatha puppet art trust delhi for one year which is the leading puppet theatre of india. I learned how to manipulate the puppets and how to make the puppets also. I was working under the direction of ANURUPA ROY master of puppetry. I have recently performed at Tagore srinagar the play i have written and directed also called Dirama Company. I’m running my own theatre in kashmir THE KALAKARS THEATRE.
