From the holy land of the city of Shiva himself, Kaashi, we bring to you our new Music Video “Fakeera”.
Fakeera is a story of every seeker, whether young or old, who wants to understand the meaning of life and the meaning of God. All life is just a quest, a play that we are all characters of. And no matter what we do or believe, we would all eventually be returned back to the same soil we were born out of.
Fakeera is Written, Composed and Performed by Divyansh. A musician based out of Gwalior. The music video is done by Ayush Dubey and Framever Films from Lucknow.

As it turns out, Fakeera is the first proper music video of its scale, to be shot in Banaras. Other videos are either travel vlogs or documentaries. The video will showcase different characters and their stories that form up the city of Banaras. A city is not about the land and the establishments, but about the people. In addition, the video will contain some beautiful shots of the iconic ghats, temples and breathtaking aerial shots of the majestic river ganga and the city.
Our team had a 10 day schedule in the month of January. The Camera team was lead by Alok Pathak. Other cinematographers were Kirpal Singh and Abhishek Tripathi.
The edits and the Vfx are done by Shivam Chandra and DI is done by the very multitalented Kirpal Singh himself.
We had a great support from the people and the entire city of Varanasi. The hospitality, the participation were exemplary. We have also collaborated with the local artists and musicians in Banaras. A few of the known faces to the city are Satendra satya on Harmonium, Muralidhar Murari on Dholak, Sanket on flute, Krishna Rg Iyer as the athlete and Mohineesh on tabla.
The video will soon be available on YouTube and other possible Platforms. The date of release is set to be 20th March, this year.
