Onkar Samarth has been associated with and excelled in the food and beverages industry for the last ten years. He has travelled to gain more knowledge of different cuisines from their native countries and experienced chefs in the food industry. Before starting his venture in India, Onkar Samarth accumulated first-hand knowledge by working in multiple diners in London. Onkar has also had professional training and pursued culinary courses from a prestigious college in London, United Kingdom. Onkar is skilled in fine dining, hospitality management, modern European cuisine, menu planning, food styling, immersive food experience, and a lot more. He has worked in ITC Maratha and SK Restaurants as well.

Chef Onkar Samarth owns Bombay Coffeehouse in Mumbai with an exquisite menu. The culture of coffee houses has been on the rise since the 90s. Onkar seized this opportunity and opened a coffee house with an elaborate menu. The idea behind creating the menu for The Bombay Coffee House was to cater for dishes that can be consumed every day by all age groups – ranging from teenagers, youth, business class and adults. Samarth aspires to craft food that makes people smile and feel fulfilled. Customer feedback, whether it is positive or negative, holds a great deal of importance for Samarth.

El Toro, a Spanish word meaning ‘The Bull’, is fine dining based on the Spanish concept of Tapas. El Toro Cantina and Tapas offers a breezy ambience and relishing portions that keep you coming back for more. Located in the West Bandra area of Mumbai, El Toro’s exquisite dishes and flavours are an absolute treat for your palate. It is designed to ensure accessibility for physically handicapped people.

Chef Onkar Samarth is currently engaged in multiple projects. One of them is The Lost Supper. The Lost Supper is the first gastronomy offering Mumbai’s first theatrical dining experience. It brings you an elaborate five-course meal and takes you on an immersive unique experience. The menu is conceptualised by the exceptionally experienced Chef Onkar Samarth. It is located on Ballard Estate in Mumbai.
