You are only as good as your most recent phone. And, while phone manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Pixel, and OnePlus can certainly point to some major highlights among the devices they released in the last year, that’s old news. The focus has already shifted to 2022, and which handsets in development have the potential to join the ranks of the best phones.
Fortunately, it appears that phone manufacturers are up to the task of releasing new models that could outperform the phones that wowed us this year. That’s good news if you’re looking for a new phone, as the iPhone 13, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Pixel 6 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Pro all performed admirably.
We anticipate that the phones’ successors will continue to push the boundaries of what we can expect from mobile photography. Phones that charge faster and last longer could be on the way. And, in the coming year, we expect a trio of processors — Google’s Tensor chip has now joined the Snapdragon 8 series and Apple’s A-series chipsets — to allow our smartphones to do even more.
Here are the most anticipated phones that we’ll be keeping an eye on in 2022.
- Xiaomi 12
Snapdragon’s new 8 Gen 1 processor has arrived, ready to power the next generation of Android flagships. And the Xiaomi 12 could be one of the first blowers out of the box with the new chip.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 paired a flagship spec sheet with premium looks at a sensible price, even if its software wasn’t the most refined. If the Xiaomi 12 goes the same way, it could be one of 2022’s best-value handsets.
- Realme GT 2 Pro
Touted as Realme’s “first and most premium flagship”, the GT 2 Pro is also set to ship equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Previous Realme devices have delivered a top-notch performance at more affordable prices than the big-name blower brands, but they’ve always cut a couple of corners to get there.
- OnePlus 10 Pro
Rather than keep its new smartphones under wraps, OnePlus has already revealed the full design and specs for the Pro model. True to leaked renders, the powerhouse packs a wraparound camera housing that harbors triple 48MP, 50MP, and 8MP sensors with Hasselblad optics.
- Huawei P60 Pro
Launched last year, the Huawei P50 Pro was a bit of an odd one. A photography powerhouse, it benefited from a quartet of capable cameras with plenty of megapixels between them – including a periscope lens which offered a stellar 200x digital zoom. Trouble was, ongoing trade restrictions meant the flagship never made it out of China.
- Sony Xperia 1 IV
Sony’s found its stride with the flagship Xperia 1 line. A pretty niche line of devices (with price tags to match), it’s become known for two things: outstanding camera hardware and even more astonishing display tech.
- Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge
Xiaomi’s mobile under 30000, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will launch on January 6. The teaser released by the company shows it will be the first in India to bring support for 120W fast charging and is one of the best 5G mobiles in India. Expected color variants are Camo Green and Stealth Black.
- Google Pixel 6a
While most of the smartphones in this list would find an early 2022 launch, Google’s anticipated Pixel 6a will get a later 2022 launch date. Leaks have revealed that Pixel 6a will get quite a few interesting changes in design, chipset, and other specs.
- Apple iPhone SE 3
Apple is gearing up to launch its most affordable smartphone, iPhone SE 3 in 2022. It aims at consumers who might want to switch to IOS from Android.
- Apple iPhone 14
The yearly launch that keeps the tech industry on its toes is also scheduled to happen like in previous years. Apple’s iPhone 14 series is almost 9 months later, but the speculations about what will be new in iPhone 14 Series have already started surfacing online. iPhone 14 will launch in September like every year.
10. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was earlier supposed to be launched in 2021, but chip shortages and other factors pushed its launch to January 2022. It is a combination of good features, 5G connectivity, and affordable price. It will come in Olive green, lavender, and white colors besides the graphite option.
Above shared the list of smartphone under 30000 which you can buy for you and for your loved once. Most of these devices are expected to see big design changes. For instance, the OnePlus 10 Pro is tipped to feature a big square camera module that bends around the edge. The Pixel 6a could sport a design similar to that of the Pixel 6.
While Xiaomi 12 is likely to be equipped with a big circular camera module. Apart from the design, revelations have been made about specs too. So keep reading to find out about the top phones expected in 2022.
