Twenty-year-old Suhaira Ashraf has been in the spotlight as Kashmir’s one of the youngest female football coaches, who is coaching the junior players for last two years.

Born and brought up in Qamarwari area of Srinagar city, Suhaira started to play football in her childhood, and continued it, till the date.
“I have started my football carrier in my childhood, when i was in 2nd class. For last ten years, i have been associated to it actively,” Suhaira shares.

As per Suhaira, she is now coaching the junior players for last two years (since 2017-18) and in this connection, she started her own football academy titled as “Kashmir football academia” at Eidgah Srinagar.Besides Eidgah Srinagar, Suhaira Asharf “use to impart football training among school children” at Polo ground in Srinagar and Budgam
