The match between Ruaraka Sports club and SCLPS A was comfortably won Ruaraka . The consistent performer for Ruaraka Pushkar Sharma yet again proved to be a hero for his team. His all round performance led the team to a victory.
Winning the toss , SCLPS A chose to bowl, a decision which turned costly to them. Opening the innings for Ruaraka, Pushkar made his intentions clear. Coming back from India, the southpaw played with great caution. Taking calculated risks he dislpayed his shots which cleared the ropes. Hitting 10 fours and one towering six, he played a superb knock of 76 runs off 59 balls. He held one end of the innings firmly until he was dismissed in the penultimate over. His fighting knock helped Ruaraka reach to 176 runs in 20 overs.
Furthermore , the southpaw, who bowls medium pace also scalped 2 wickets for Ruaraka. His all round performance helped his team win the match by 29 runs and earned him the much deserved Man of the Match award. Pushkar might have come from a break , but his seeing his performance hardly anyone would say so. It will be interesting to see if he continues with his golden form in the entire tournament.
