Nothing surprises us from our favorite reality-star-turned-President Donald Trump anymore. He is trying to run the country as one of his companies, thinking no one will dare to defy him, but we know that always ends up in bankruptcy. Luckily, America remains great, just not in the way he would like.
Trump was just humiliated in his attempt to subject the Supreme Court to his will, and we are all for it. And you should be too.
Trump’s Passion for Deportation
You probably know by now that Trump is trying to kick people out of the country in all way imaginable. If he wasn’t busy with making neighboring countries mad with his tariffs, he would probably go personally chasing people on the street, cramming them in a plane, and sending them wherever. Our guess is that his only criteria would be that the folks have funny sounding names. Unfortunately for Trump, that’s not the way things work in this country.
Trump’s recent attempt to use a law from 1798 to deport Venezuelan migrants was shut down by District Judge James E. Boasberg and the President immediately wanted to get his revenge. He went straight to Supreme Court, wanting to get Boasberg and any other judge that doesn’t support his plans, impeached. But someone finally took a stand.
How About No?
Chief Justice John Roberts took a hard stance against Trump’s attempts to use impeachment as a mean to deal with his enemies. Roberts went out of his way to humiliate Trump, publishing a rare statement in which he said that impeachment is not an appropriate way to deal with “disagreement concerning a judicial decision.”
Trump is Pouting as Expected
Of course, Trump didn’t take long to respond, doing so through his Truth Social account. In a post made on Tuesday, Trump vented about “Radical Left Lunatic Judge” who wants to “assume the role of President.”
This is a sharp turn for Trump when it comes to his feelings about Roberts. He previously praised the Chief Justice when he backed his view of Presidential immunity for the acts he did in his first term. Now, the first time he did something Trump didn’t like, Roberts is a “lunatic.” But let’s be real, should we expect anything else?
