Elon Musk is no stranger to controversies, but the last week has also brought his personal life into the mix. A right-wing social media personality Ashley St Clair posted on social media claiming to be the mother of Musk’s five-month-old secret 13th child.
Clair posted on X that she “welcomed a new baby” five months ago and that “Elon Musk is the father.” She added that, in a bid to ensure the “privacy and safety” of the baby, she did not disclose the news. In an interview with the New York Post, she also claimed that Musk wants to keep the child a secret to ensure his safety.
Elon Musk hasn’t released any official statement regarding the situation. Meanwhile, Clair’s legal representative posted on X that Musk and Ashley are working on an agreement regarding raising the child.
Who is Ashley St Clair?
Ashley St Clair is a conservative influencer and media personality. She is also an author and a writer. The 26-year-old influencer also made an appearance on Fox News where she joined a debate on declaring birth rates in America.
Clair is an outspoken supporter of conservative Christian values and a part of the “anti-woke brigade.” In 2021, she published a children’s book titled Elephants Are Not Birds. The book follows an elephant named Kevin, who loves to sing. A vulture named “Culture” tells him that he is a bird just because he can sing. Published under the banner of “Brave Books,” it is an unapologetically transphobic and anti-woke book.
Clair has two kids. A son from a previous relationship and one allegedly with Elon Musk. She has been slammed on Instagram for her hypocrisy of having “two kids without marriage with two different men” while promoting Christian conservative values.
MAGA Turns On Ashley St Clair
Ashley has been a major supporter of Trump and a “certified” MAGA member. However, MAGA and Elon’s fans quickly turned on her after she made her claims public. Prominent Republicans called her claims a “publicity stunt” and a “vicious smear campaign” against Elon Musk.
MAGA condemned Clair for her “liberal behavior” and called her a “grifter.” A Republican user on X claimed that Ashley is embracing “her roots” as an “anti-Trump and anti-MAGA shill.” Others added that she will use her “sob story” to tarnish Musk’s image and indirectly undermine the Trump presidency.
Another user posted on X calling anyone supporting Ashley St Clair a “hypocrites who stand for nothing.” Influencer Brian Allen called out the hypocrisy of both Elon Musk and Clair for having a child out of wedlock while promoting “traditional values.”
