In a candid preview for next Thursday’s episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ NBA star Tristan Thompson, 32, expressed deep remorse and disgust for his past actions, admitting to betraying his ex, Khloé Kardashian.
“In this family, if you do something to one of us, it affects everyone,” Khloé, the Good American founder, explained to Thompson during the emotional exchange.
Acknowledging the impact of his actions, Thompson confessed, “I’m in the place now where I can own up to the mistakes I made.” This marks a significant moment as the pro athlete takes responsibility for his past indiscretions.
The conversation took a turn when Kylie Jenner, Khloé’s sister, revealed feeling “a little nervous” about Thompson’s presence. Addressing Kylie, Thompson acknowledged, “Everyone got affected differently, but I think you were affected the most.”
The reference was to Thompson’s involvement with Jordyn Woods, best friend of Kylie Jenner, in a highly publicized cheating scandal in February 2019. While Woods denied a sexual encounter, she admitted to a kiss at an afterparty hosted by Thompson.
Kourtney Kardashian, known for her straightforward approach, questioned Thompson about his emotions following infidelity. Thompson revealed that he felt “disgusted the next day” and faced further inquiry from Kourtney, who asked, “Why do you do it again?”
Thompson’s history of infidelity came back into the spotlight in December 2021 when it was revealed he had conceived another child with Maralee Nichols while still in a relationship with Khloé. At the time, Khloé was expecting their son Tatum, born in August 2022 via surrogate. The pair also shares a 5-year-old daughter, True.
Despite their separation, recent sources revealed that Thompson and Khloé have grown close again, especially after the passing of Thompson’s mother, Andrea. Thompson is reportedly working hard to prove himself not just to Khloé but to the entire Kardashian family. The athlete has also formed a stronger bond with Kris Jenner, further solidifying his commitment to redemption and rebuilding trust within the family.
