The “Kolhigandu”, still the favorite of Maldivians even after the former singer Abdul Raziq Ali changed his career for good.
Abdul Raziq Ali is one of the popular singers ever born in Maldives. He has been contributing lot to the music industry from the year 2013 onwards till he changed his profession of music. Therefore, “Kolhigandu” song is one of the hit songs from the album “Sissuvaali”. “Boduberu” was the first ever album to be made and released in Maldives.
As being the lead vocalist of the Faruma Boduberu group who featured in the Album, he has given a great performance and was loved by many for his strong voice. Other than this, he also has released many songs and Nasheed during his past career.
Even now he releases Nasheed’s and one of his recent nasheed is “Loabi Dharifulhaa”, which has hit over 100k views from SoundCloud.
The former singer has also won the title of voice of MNDF and won the best singer award for 2012 and 2014 from the Boduberu challenge organized by Television Maldives (TVM).
