The 47-year-old Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively just revealed the name of their youngest child: Olin. On July 22, Reynolds appeared on stage alongside co-stars and director Shawn Levy at the David H. Koch Theater for the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City. He was quite appreciative of Lively’s attire and joked, “Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert.” Reynolds also expressed love to their youngest child, Olin, and their girls, James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.
Welcoming Their Fourth Child
The It Ends With Us actress, 36, and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their fourth child on February 12, 2023. Although they have shared the child’s name, they have not disclosed the sex of their youngest. In May, Reynolds hinted at the baby’s name during an appearance on the Today show.
“Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics!” co-host Savannah Guthrie joked, referring to Swift’s song “Betty” from her 2020 album Folklore, which includes the names of the couple’s older three children.
When asked if Swift hints at the baby’s name on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, Ryan Reynolds joked, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is, and I’ll say this: We’re still waiting.”
Keeping Family Details Private
Despite being public figures, Reynolds and Lively choose to keep certain details about their children private. On the Today show in 2022, Reynolds mentioned that he and the Gossip Girl alum, who was pregnant with Olin at the time, did not know the baby’s sex before birth, adding that they “never find out ’til [they’re born].”
