Every successful video production project and shoot depends on pre-production. One of the most important elements of pre-production is casting. Casting the “talent” for a role will not only make the final image and project look better, but it will also make the shoot go more smoothly.
Rajat Roy is a known Actor and casting director in Bollywood. He has a different zone of casting – he is more focused on the actors in the Eastern side of India. This is mainly due to several plots being centred around Bengal, also many TV commercials are made where presence of Bengali and North Eastern actors are required. He says, ” Honestly speaking, I love casting Bengali actors in Bollywood because firstly Bengal is a very creative place, actors are very flexible and secondly it’s my birth place. So I am being a little selfish when I say this. Bengali actors really love to work in Bollywood films. In fact the only issue is language. They need to practice Hindi diction to develop good, fluent Hindi if they really want to work in Hindi films or web series. They need a genuine guiding hand, a casting agent who is associated with Bollywood to prepare them for the Hindi film industry. So I grabbed this great opportunity”.
Previously, Mr Rajat Roy has been associated as ab Actor with more than 100 TV commercials , many serials and films . Currently he is doing a film with the Director Sankalp Reddy (IB-71) , starring Vidyut Jammwal as the main lead.
