MotherChef: Monthly meal Delivery Startup by Deepak Shekhar for Students.

MotherChef is a monthly homemade food delivery startup for students and working professionals who are far away from their homes and want food like home.

Deepak Shekhar, Founder of Mother Chef, is a native of Kota city of Rajasthan state. Kota city has developed into the education hub of the whole world. Deepak Shekhar completed his graduation from BSc (Science) in 2017. Along with his studies, he also did a job in the field of marketing and coaching. Lakhs of students come to education hub Kota to study engineering and medical entrance exams.

The founder observed that Kota has good coaching, faculty, hostels, counsellors and doctors, but the students are troubled by eating hostels and mess (outside food) and facing many physical problems.

Many students contacted the founder during his coaching management job. Those students told their problems to the founder, and he came to know that many students are facing these problems related to healthy and simple food.

Deepak Shekhar decided that something had to be done for these students, and the founder came up with an idea considering students’ problems. Then the founder worked on his project for two months and developed the Mother Chef App. The company registered the women in this app and created their food profiles. Students can book orders through the app by clicking on the female profile of any region. Monthly and weekly subscription has been kept in this app. The company does free delivery to the student’s doorstep. Apart from solving the problems of the students, this company will also provide employment to women. With this solution of Deepak Shekhar, now students can get healthy, simple and hygienic food made by their mother. Mother Chef app now provides the best tiffin service in Kota (Rajasthan).

The founder wants to expand the company and also launch it in other cities where students come to complete their studies. Working professionals are also using this app, and they also like the Mother Chef service the most. There are many cities across India where students and professionals want to eat home-cooked food but are forced to eat outside food. Along with this, women sitting at home will also get employment in large numbers through this Mother Chef app. The founder wants to revolutionize the whole of India through the idea of Mother Chef.

He plans to launch the app on the pan India level very soon. 

Because the app is getting a good response in the market, the founder’s next target cities are Sikker (Rajasthan), Chandigarh (Punjab), Delhi and Bangalore (Karnataka).  Mother Chef is also rated five star on the play store, and the app has earned the title of best food and meal delivery startup by the students of Kota city.
