Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner welcome their second baby girl

1 Mins read

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have welcomed a second daughter to their family. Their other child, Willa, was born in July of 2020. Sources have confirmed that Turner gave birth in Miami, Florida, earlier this month and is already home.

Though frequently photographed with a prominent baby bump, Turner did not confirm her pregnancy until May this year. She first broke the news in an exclusive interview with Elle magazine, stating that her life was now focused on “raising the next generation.” She called watching her daughter grow from “strength to strength” a great joy. Turner also expressed the happy couple’s delight in expanding their family.

Turner and Jonas have been very protective of their toddler, shielding her face from photographers and keeping her off social media. The mother of two gave a rare update on Willa by commenting that she was acting “clingier” than usual before the birth. Turner playfully stated that her first daughter was “claiming Mummy as her territory.”

Jonas, 32, and Turner, 26, began dating in 2016 and married in 2019. Their first wedding was an informal ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 1, 2019. This was followed by a lavish event in Paris on June 29, 2019. Joe Jonas is a Grammy nominee and rose to fame as a member of the acclaimed boyband Jonas Brothers. Sophie Turner played one of the main protagonists in the celebrated HBO series “Game of Thrones.” Auditioning for the role of Sansa Stark at just 13, the then-unknown Turner became a household name almost overnight.

Joe Jonas’ brother Nick and his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas also welcomed their daughter Malti in January of this year. Born via surrogate, the baby spent the first four months of her life in the NICU. Chopra Jonas announced her baby’s homecoming on Instagram in May, calling the hospital stay a “roller coaster.”

Here’s hoping little Willa and her new sister will have quality time and make great memories with cousin Malti!
