Honourable Member of Parliament, Government of India Mohammed Faizal gave away the scholarships for the year 2021-22 in a ceremonious program at the RVS Sulur campus.

RVS Educational Trust, Sulur, Coimbatore which carries a legacy of serving society via education for 30 and beyond years, operates several institutions varying from Higher secondary schools, Arts & Science, to Medical & Engineering colleges located throughout the vital corners of Tamilnadu. Owning over 30 years of legacy in education, RVS Matriculation higher secondary school And RVS College of Arts & Science at Sulur, Coimbatore has produced numerous alumni. Who have evolved prominent personalities in their fields from CEO, IAS IPS, Doctor, Lawyer, to Chartered Accountants.

Managing Trustee K Senthil Ganesh and RVS Alumni have come together to endow this scholarship program to support and uplift the underprivileged and meritorious students to accomplish their higher education endeavour. For the distribution programme, the Managing trustee of RVS invited Lakshadeep MP Honourable Mohammed Faizal to hand over the cheque to the beneficiaries.

Honourable Mohammed Faizal addressed the assemblage in his speech, insisted on the required new framework for education and also added how blending technology with education has evolved imperative for the modern era.

Today institutions are typically incapable of bridging the gap between job market requirements because the conventional method of education is not tech-enabled. Moreover, his speech insisted on instilling the quality of the student he is born with and furnishing the needed aids to assist them in achieving it.

Honourable MP admires the RVS Education Managing Trustee, Dr K Senthil Ganesh, for framing the industry demanded syllabus and appreciates the curriculum, ethos and vision of RVS management.

RVS has initiated collaborations with Lakshadeep. Further, the Managing trustee of RVS promises to extend a similar scholarship program for a deserving student from Lakshadeep.

All the parents and the beneficiaries thanked the Administration and the Benefactors. Ms. Taryn of Std: XI-A ended her vote of thanks with a touching prayer for abundant blessings for all the benefactors.

All present gratefully appreciated the efforts taken by the Principal Mr. V. A. Kunjumon and Vice-Principal, Ms. Bhagyalakshmi and all others in getting the donations collected and in bringing together the benefactors and the beneficiaries. All hope for more such kind deeds in the future so that the poor and the needy are taken care of.

In the scholastic year 2020-21, the school recorded an amount of ₹ 7, 84000 in terms of scholarships from the administration alone. This was for the special achievements of the students, score based scholarship, star students etc.

The school was able to disperse more than ₹ 1 Lakh today. The CE, Shri Natarajan has created an endowment fund of Rs. 5,00,000 for the same in the name of his late beloved wife Shrimathi Rajamani. Some of the members of the staff namely Ms. Bhagyalakshmi, the  VP, Ms. K. Priya, Ms. Jaishanthi, keeps donating for the cause every year.

Some others were helping this year. Mr. Senthil donated an amount through the Ratna Sagar Publications. It also got donations from Mr. Vijayakumar, Ms. Divya, Ms. Poongodi, Ms. Nisha, Ms. Gomathi, Ms. Radhamani and Mr. Bhoopathi The school hopes for better support from all in the coming years and better support for more students each year
