Name of Elon Musk’s 3rd Child Revealed: It’s As Unexpected As You’d Expect!

1 Mins read

In a rather unexpected revelation made on the social platform X (formerly known as Twitter), technology magnate Elon Musk and his former partner Grimes introduced their third child to the world, complete with a distinctive and unconventional name. The latest addition to their family is now known as Tau Techno Mechanicus, joining the ranks of their siblings X Æ A-Xii and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. This unveiling was prompted by an entertainment news account, Pop Base, which had previously compiled a list of their children’s names.

The existence of Tau Techno Mechanicus had been kept under wraps until this recent disclosure. While Musk and Grimes officially parted ways in September 2021, the singer, born Claire Boucher, has described their relationship status as “very fluid.”

In an interview with Vanity Fair in March 2022, Grimes disclosed that Exa Dark Sideræl Musk had been born in December 2021 through a surrogate. Their second child’s arrival was initially intended to remain private, but Grimes unintentionally shared the news when Vanity Fair journalist Devin Gordon overheard the sound of a crying baby.

Before Tau Techno Mechanicus’s birth, Musk and Grimes welcomed their first child, X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020.

Elon Musk, 48, has a larger family beyond his relationship with Grimes. From a previous marriage, he has five children: twins named Griffin and Vivian, and triplets named Damian, Saxon, and Kai. Additionally, it was revealed on September 6 that Musk has 16-month-old twins named Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, a company owned by Musk. Neuralink is known for its ambitious goal of developing an implantable computer chip for the human brain.

Musk has been an outspoken advocate for addressing declining birth rates, expressing concerns about the issue. He took to Twitter in May 2022 to remark, “USA birth rate has been below min sustainable levels for ~50 years.” In July of the same year, he reiterated his stance by stating, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”

The unconventional names and Musk’s public discussions on demographic challenges continue to keep the spotlight on the entrepreneur’s personal life and views on critical societal issues.
