TALENTICAA MISS INDIA GLOBAL WINNER ESHA VELANKAR, FIRST INDIAN TO WIN MISS UNITY INTERNATIONAL TITLE

It looks like 2022 is all about India in international beauty pageants. After Miss Universe, another good news came to India. Kalyan based Marathi mulgi Esha grabbed the title of Miss Unity International 2021/22 by defeating the participants from 29 countries. 

Miss Unity International is Africa based biggest international pageant scheduled in Nigeria this year. Due to Covid situation worldwide and government guidelines, she was unable to attend the event personally, so she has participated online. 

After 13 rounds of different tasks and interviews finally, she made it in the top 5 and then won the winner Title. The top 5 contestants were India, Zambia, Indonesia, Ecuador and Nigeria.

The top 3 winners were

 Miss Unity International 2021-22 winner – India 

 1st runner up – Zambia

 2nd runner up – Indonesia

 Soon she will visit Nigeria to fulfil her duty and travel to different African countries for social projects. The results were announced on 31st December on New year Eve when the whole of India celebrated their victory with a new start of the year.

The journey has never been so easy for her. She gave all credit to her parents. She said, “My mom and dad are my strength, they are the pillars of my success. They have sacrificed a lot and without their support, it was not even possible.”

She is an undergraduate student of fashion journalism and a trained classical dancer. She won many awards in academics and dance. She had won the FBB Miss Teen title at the age of 15, and soon she became Styllia- West India’s Next Top Model at the age of 16. At the age of 18, she got selected to represent Maharashtra in Talenticaa Miss India Global Pageant and become the Runner up. Talenticaa Miss India Global happened Dec 2020 in Goa. After several rounds in 5 days, she became the runner up title winner.

What’s her Future Plan? 

 She smiled and said, “Don’t know yet but I have strong faith in God. I believe, he must have some good plan for me”. But she also replied that she is keen to complete her studies and want to excel more in the field of fashion and acting. 

Just at the age of 18, she has made the whole of India proud with her success and set an example for all young aspirants to never give up on their dreams and keep working hard to achieve success. 

Talenticaa Miss India Global 2022 is getting a schedule in April in Mumbai. This year, 20 beauties from different parts of India will be part of this show. The top 3 winners will represent in the international pageant in 2022 and 2023.
