A fantastic 10 Arena Geeta Bhawan Indore graduates are involved in 03 of the films nominated for Oscars at the 94th Academy Awards under Best Visual Effects.

They include Sandeep Choudhary, Devesh Anita Satish Neema, Bhanu Rathore, Chetan Rathore, Gaurav Jayant, Ravindra Rathore, Prateek Sharma, Bhumika Thakuria, Tribhuvan Parkhe and Amit Kumar Dwivedi for movies ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, ‘No time to Die’ and ‘Dune’. All these movies are among the shortlist for the 2022 Academy Awards and BAFTA shortlists, which were announced recently.

The Students have received over 100 Awards and Cash Prizes from Creative Minds, Golden Cursor, Gujarat Film Festival, Do Good Karma, Chandigarh International Film Festival, Chambal Film Festival, Chitra Bharti, Fame, U Special, 48 hours film project, Orbit Live and other top Festivals. 

Many Industry experts across the globe regularly share their expertise with their students via Case Studies, Master Classes, Workshops and Seminars. Institute regularly organises Industry Visits, Contests, Exhibitions and Campus Interactions to enhance employability.

The institute is actively doing community building as a part of its Social responsibility. Our founder is the Director and Core Committee Member of Asifa India, a professional body recognised by UNESCO, devoted to developing film animation both as an art and also as an effective means of communication. The Institute also Volunteers for the Animation Society of India, popularly known as TASI. 

For Skill improvisation under Social Incubation initiatives, the institute works with leading Management Associations like IMA and various State Police departments, RRCAT, Indore Marathoners, Road Safety Foundation, Earth and Us etc., by providing Animation and Motion Graphics contents for effective communication.

Last year, the Indian MandE sector crossed INR 1.9 Trillion, and with robust growth, it is expected to cross INR 3.0 Trillion by 2022 as per the recent FICCI-EandY Report. Hence this sector is amongst the sunrise sector of India and is expected to blaze a trail, outpacing most other segments.
