The Indian government said today, Thursday, that it gave the billionth dose of the Corona vaccine, after 6 months of a huge rise in the number of infections that raised fears of a collapse of the health system, according to AFP.
The Indian government indicated that about three-quarters of the population, amounting to 1.3 billion people, had received at least one dose, noting that about 30% of them had received the vaccine completely.
