This was the first red carpet event that Designer Stevie Edwards has seen his designs on. Actress LisaRaye is his Muse who he uses in his Fashion Ad Campaigns and most recently she walked in his NYFW show that went viral with over a million views.
This moment has set the precedence of what’s to come from the Designer, who within the past month has moved his showroom from Chicago to Los Angeles.
Stevie states, “I want to dress Hollywood, so I had to move here to do it.” From the looks of what LisaRaye wore to the BET awards, I believe that Stevie will shake it up in Hollywood. Stevie clothes has also been spotted on Actress Tiffany Haddish and singer Jody Watley. Stevie also states, “I’m a real designer, not a microwave designer, I sew, tailor, design, patternmaking and sketch all of my garments, so you are getting the real deal from a real Designer.”
Stevie is preparing for a “Welcome to LA” showing in Beverly Hills, showing a a 50-100 piece Samples of his Designs to introduce himself to Hollywood. This will be an invite only event for stylist, media and celebrities to get a taste of what he can do as a Designer.
