Taylor Swift Retitles Kim K Diss Track, Targets Kanye West!

Taylor Swift Retitles Kim K Diss Track, Aimed Directly at Kanye West!

Taylor Swift seems to be reigniting her feud with Kanye West through a new live version of a song she initially wrote about her issues with Kim Kardashian.

The Original Song and Speculation

Back in April, Taylor Swift released a single titled “thanK you aIMee,” where she capitalized the letters “K,” “I,” and “M,” leading her many fans to speculate that the song was about her long-standing feud with Kim Kardashian. This speculation was rooted in their public fallout from several years ago.

The Title Change: A Nod to Kanye?

This week, Taylor Swift made a subtle change to the song’s title, altering it to “thank You aimEe,” with the letters “Y” and “E” capitalized, spelling out Kanye West’s chosen name, “Ye.” This alteration has fueled speculation that Taylor’s change was a response to her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” surpassing Kanye’s “Vultures 2” on the Billboard 200 charts. Many believe Taylor Swift is celebrating her victory by subtly taunting Kanye with this title change.

The Backstory: Taylor Swift, Kanye, and Kim

The history between Taylor, Kanye, and Kim is well-known. The feud dates back to a controversial moment when Kanye publicly claimed that Taylor had approved a line in his song “Famous,” which referenced their infamous MTV encounter with the words, “I made that bitch famous.” However, Taylor denied ever approving the line.

Kim Kardashian later released an edited clip of a conversation between Kanye and Taylor Swift that seemed to support Kanye’s claim. But when the unedited version surfaced, it was clear that Taylor had not permitted the line, leading her to write and release the original song, “thanK you aIMee.”
