When she announced her retirement back in September, not only did her co-host Savannah Guthrie cry, but her fans did too. Kotb made her decision because she wanted to spend more time with her two daughters. As a single mother, she found the ‘Today’ schedule notoriously demanding, with anchors arriving at the studio in the early morning hours.
Just because Kotb retired as the ‘Today’ show host doesn’t mean she’s ditching her besties, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager. A few weeks later, the trio reunited in a restaurant for a cozy dinner with a side of endless gossip.

Hoda Kotb posted on Instagram a selfie of the three of them cozying up in a restaurant booth. Bush Hager sat in the middle, her arm wrapped around Kotb, both sporting big, happy smiles.
Hager wasted no time in commenting “I love you,” while Guthrie reposted the picture on her story with the caption “Reunion.” Fans can’t get enough of the trio, and the comment section proves it! The comment section was filled with messages about how much they “love” and “miss” Hoda Kotb.
Others adored the bond between the trio, with one writing, “This friendship is so beautiful,” and another adding, “Love the friendship that you 3 share.” There were others who wished they could join the trio, which would definitely be a dream come true. Hoda Kotb Has Something Fun Planned for Her Fans
Kotb might have retired as the ‘Today’ show host, but she is not going to sit still. On Tuesday, Kotb shared pictures of herself with former HGTV host Joanna Gaines in what appeared to be an office space. In the caption she hinted about something to do with “hosting,” and urged her fans to “Stay tuned,” as she is cooking “something fun” with designer Gaines.
Previously, she appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson” Show and stated that she wants to start a wellness app and might launch her own podcast. She added that it is still in the “building process,” but one thing is certain: it’s going to be epic.
