Did The Rock Fake His First In-N-Out Experience?

1 Mins read

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has found himself in a bit of controversy after claiming, once again, to have recently experienced his “first ever In-N-Out burger.” The actor and former pro wrestler took to Instagram to document the supposedly inaugural visit, sharing a video of his ordering process and interactions with starstruck employees.

In the Instagram clip, Johnson admitted to being unfamiliar with the In-N-Out ordering process, showcasing his humorous struggle with the fast-food joint’s menu and etiquette. Despite the confusion, he expressed appreciation for the positive vibes from employees and the recognition he received from the drive-thru.

However, keen-eyed fans quickly pointed out that this wasn’t the first time The Rock claimed a “first-ever” visit to In-N-Out. In August 2022, he had previously documented his “first time eating” In-N-Out on social media, complete with a photo of burgers, fries, and bottles of his Teremana tequila.

“A #cheatmealsunday for the history books!” he wrote at the time, revealing his positive verdict on the In-N-Out experience. The actor, known for his cheeseburger connoisseurship, even added In-N-Out to “the list.”

This recent incident wasn’t the only time The Rock had hinted at a first-time In-N-Out experience. In a selfie shared in February 2017, he mentioned that he had never been to In-N-Out before, but made a late-night run for his wife and daughter. He humorously pledged to return to the popular West Coast fast-food joint if his film “Moana” won an Oscar that year. Unfortunately, the movie lost in the Best Animated Feature category.

Fans on social media were quick to recall these past instances, leading to some scepticism about The Rock’s claims of a newfound love for In-N-Out. The actor has not responded to the online chatter surrounding his multiple “first-time” visits to the iconic fast-food chain.

The incident has sparked a light-hearted debate online, with some questioning The Rock’s memory or playfully suggesting that every visit to In-N-Out feels like the first time. Regardless of the jests, it’s evident that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s love for In-N-Out has become a recurring theme, creating a buzz whenever he decides to indulge in the iconic West Coast burgers.
