Chrishell Stause, star of the hit Netflix show “Selling Sunset,” underwent a minor surgery to remove an ovarian cyst on Wednesday. The reality TV star took to Instagram to share the news with her 3.6 million followers and to thank her doctor for taking care of her.
Ovarian cysts are common and usually cause little to no pain. They can also go away on their own in a few months. However, these cysts can twist or rupture, causing serious health complications. Large cysts, like the one Stause had, can lead to pelvic pain, abdominal pressure, and bloating.
Stause underwent the procedure due to the significant discomfort her cyst was causing. She encouraged her fans to get a check-up if they experience severe, unexplained cramps, stating that people should not ignore such symptoms. She reported “feeling good” and hinted at being looked after by her partner, G Flip.
The “All My Children” actress and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in LA in 2021 and reconnected months later. They went public with their relationship on the Season 5 reunion of “Selling Sunset.” The non-binary musician is scheduled to make their debut on the Netflix show in its upcoming sixth season.
The couple starred in a steamy music video for G Flip’s single “Get Me Outta Here,” with Stause playing G Flip’s love interest. Shortly after the video was released, Stause announced she was in a relationship with the Australian singer.
Chrishell Stause has had a tumultuous romantic history, including a failed marriage to “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley and a relationship with her “Selling Sunset” boss and co-star, Jason Oppenheim.
Fans of the actress are hoping for a speedy recovery and wish her all the best as she recovers from her surgery. Stause’s announcement serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking medical attention if one experiences any unusual symptoms.
