A manslaughter allegation has been brought against 55-year-old Brent Clifford, whose father, Doug Clifford, supplied the rhythmic foundation for the venerable band Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Concerning his 48-year-old partner Patricia Portella-Wright’s disappearance and suspected murder, the younger Clifford was taken into custody.
A Desperate Search Ends in Heartbreak
The quiet community was first alerted to trouble when Portella-Wright failed to show up for work on August 9. As days passed without word, concern grew.
