UMngomezulu plans on releasing his debut album

After 10 years UMngomezulu who’s real name is Thulasizwe Mngomezulu finally works on his debut album. UMngomezulu hailing all the way from Kwa Zulu Natal formally known as Deepland once released his album under the label “Music, Myself and I” which is a record label based in Johannesburg under a well known record shop called “Vinyl Joint”. The album was called Deep Inside which was released in 2010, this year he returns as UMngomezulu with an album titled “Remedies From Zululand” which means “Healing Sounds From Zululand”.

The album is created for broken souls with an intent to uplift peoples lives through Deep Melodic sounds, it will also give praises to the great Zululand which is his original home. The album includes collaborations with the well known Bongani Mehlomakhulu who is a poet and has appeared on imprints such as Sondela Recordings and Stay True Sounds, the inspiration between a collaboration with him is to tell our stories as South Africans and give hope to our struggles. Another exciting collaboration is with an artist called “Shirley Heavens” a very talented soul music artist who jumped into UMngomezulu’s productions giving it a warm emotional vocal touch to heal souls and give hope.
