RVS Alumni UAE hosts a One-of-a-kind Iftar party and Alumni Meet in Dubai

1 Mins read

Distance or time cannot separate true friendship. The UAE alumni association of RVS Campus, Sulur, Coimbatore, has proved that true friends connect with heart by organizing a grand Iftar party at the Food Angadi, Abu Hail, Dubai, on 23rd April, 6:30 to 10:30 PM. The alumni association consists of passed-out students from all the campuses of the RVS group. Being the first time in the history of RVS, the Iftar party and alumni meet was a successful event, with more than 300 students all over the United Arab Emirates. It was a fun-filled evening filled with laughter, memories, and emotions.

Parties are incomplete without food and games. A spectacular buffet spread with various Malabar dishes was an eye-catcher of the event. The students came up with a lucky draw contest in which three of the alumni group bagged the gifts. Apart from the alumni members, celebrities and Arabs also graced the event with their presence and made the evening even more engaging.

RVS Alumni UAE association got its form early this year with around three hundred students who graduated from the RVS Group of Institutions. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Managing Trustee, Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh, could not attend the Iftar party. However, he connected through video and extended his warm wishes to the RVS UAE Alumni association. He said it is incredibly heartening to know that the alumni members are still in contact even after many years. Moreover, he wished everyone good luck and promised to meet all in person shortly.

Life is a celebration when long-distance friends keep in touch. The UAE alumni of RVS have proved that their friendship is something that will stay forever.  They thanked RVS Siragugal for the continued support, and all alumni are engaging with this digital platform. The management of RVS and the alumni association of UAE hopes to see many similar parties and meetings in the following years.
