Paul Hilse’s Guide to Making Passive Income Through YouTube Automation

2 Mins read

In this day and age, it’s more important than ever to have multiple sources of income. In recent years, more and more people have realized that and decided to embark on an entrepreneurial journey of their own. According to the Kauffman Foundation’s National Report on Early Stage Entrepreneurship in the United States, in 2020, the rate of new entrepreneurs was 0.38% (a huge increase from 2019’s 0.11%), meaning that an average of 380 out of every 100,000 adults became new entrepreneurs in a given month.

The latest trend in making passive income online is through YouTube Automation. With more than two million subscribers across his channels, Paul Hilse is an authority on how to start making money with YouTube Automation. Here Paul shares his tips on how to get started.

Choose An Appropriate Niche

Though creating videos with the hope of earning ad revenue is a trend that’s been going on for quite some time, Paul Hilse points out that it seems people have forgotten the golden rule in making money online: “be specific.” That’s why he emphasizes the importance of choosing the correct niche. To do that, Paul explains that it’s important to consider the number of searches per month, keyword difficulty (how competitive it is), and potential ad revenue — all factors that affect how much money the channel will make.

Create a Channel That Is Different from Others

The second step is to create a channel on YouTube that’s unique from others, or, at the very least, one that has minimal competition. According to Paul, this helps you stand out from the pack, especially in search results. Be sure to scope out the content of your competition. This will help identify ways to further differentiate your content and have it be of higher quality than the rest.

Plan Out Your Videos

Paul Hilse points out that it’s not enough just to create a video with unique ideas. You also have to thoroughly plan out how the video will be executed. Each video should feel like a complete story, with a beginning, middle, and end. But there are a lot of steps beyond just scripting and deciding on the topic. You also have to choose the length of the video, determine how it will be shot, select what type of camera to use, settle on how it will be edited, and figure out where the video will go after publishing.

Repeat the Steps and Enjoy Your Earnings

Once the channel is created and videos are optimized for search engines to drive traffic, Paul Hilse says that the next step is to repeat the process until the money starts pouring. It might take some time, but thankfully “the process is pretty simple,” Paul says. “You should continue uploading videos until you are satisfied with the revenue they are generating, and after that, you can enjoy spending your hard-earned money.”
