For Yvenson Israel, It Takes Ownership To Gain Freedom Over Your Time

1 Mins read

If there’s one thing we all wish we had more of, it’s time. One of the key components to having financial freedom is gaining freedom over your time. Yvenson “Vince” Israel says the best way to find your freedom is to own a business.

Vince grew up with a younger brother and sister being raised by a single mother. His mom worked tirelessly, making $9.50/hr to care for the family. But Vince still remembers times when the power company came to turn the lights off or she had to pay late fees on rent. When Vince got his first job at age 16 working at CVS, he was excited to help support the family, but their situation changed very little. As Vince looked for other ways to make money, he would ask anyone who walked into CVS wearing a Rolex or driving a nice car what they did for a living. “One word I kept hearing over and over was ‘I own’ so I came to the conclusion that if I wanted to be successful like them, I needed to own something,” says Vince Israel.

Since he knew he could never afford to own a brick-and-mortar business, Vince turned his focus to online ventures. He spent thousands of dollars on motivational products for home-based businesses, which didn’t yield the results they promised. Vince knew if he wanted stability in his business, he needed to only get involved in things he owned and controlled. So, he started doing Amazon drop shipping. Within a year, he had a six-figure store and several students earning $30-$50k a month in sales.

Vince has gone from earning $7.50/hr to having $120,000 days with his e-commerce business, all while he gets to be a stay-at-home dad to his 6-year-old daughter. He’s also created multiple 7 figure Amazon sellers and students who have found the same success. Vince’s proud accomplishments come in that he has helped others achieve a level of success that nothing can compare to. Vince feels very privileged to have built the lifestyle he always wanted for himself. “I never have to request vacation time because I’m my own boss. However, my biggest achievement has been the ability to pass down the knowledge,” says Vince Israel.
