Next, Belal.sh opines that experimenting with the lengths of the outfits often works to give an appealing feel to one’s wardrobe. “Alternating between knee-length, ankle-length, and above the knee works wonders so long as the dressing choice remains appropriate and relevant for the occasion.”
Belal.sh also believes in mixing and matching clothes. “You might be used to pairing blue jeans with a white t-shirt. Try altering this pattern by matching the jeans with a black t-shirt and weigh whether the result appeals to you. If it doesn’t, try a different combination,” says the fashion designer. He adds that this is also economical since you don’t have to spend a fortune on new outfits every time.
Belal.sh further adds that accessories are just as significant to one’s look as the pieces of clothing. “Throw in a necklace, an earring, a wristwatch—you name it. These can take your overall look to the next level. They add some glow to the person wearing it, and it’s like they bring life to the entire outfit,” he comments.
Lastly, Belal.sh believes in the power of modification. “Don’t throw away the old clothes or the ones you don’t think you need. Add some color to them, print some wordings or images, or try modifying their shapes and sizes to remake them into different outfits.”
