What is Black Crown, Inc.?
It’s a relationship-based real estate brokerage and law firm in Los Angeles and Orange County. We help our clients recover costs and close deals. So far, we’re responsible for over USD 10 million in recovered costs and over USD 20 billion in closed transactions.
Why do you think you’ve been so successful?
I lead with hard work, passion, and ingenuity with my clients. I practice discretion and put my clients above my own visibility. I want people to feel confident using our services, so I always go above and beyond to make the client happy.
How does your business give back?
I’m a lawyer, so I do a lot of pro bono work for local families in need, and I urge all of the lawyers who work for me to do the same. I’m also a licensed contractor, so I work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for people who need them. Also, I’m a board member for She Built This City, which helps empower women by sparking an interest in the construction and manufacturing trades. I love giving back and helping others as much as I can.
What advice would you give to others who are looking for your level of success?
Be willing to put in the hard work to be at the top of your field. That might look like going to college, but it doesn’t have to for all professionals. It might just mean reading a bunch of books and learning head-on. Either way, you need to know a ton about the industry you want to be in before you jump forward.
