The Shocking Truth Behind Prince Harry and King Charles’ Silent Feud—Calls Ignored!

3 Mins read

Prince Harry and his father, King Charles, are becoming increasingly distant from one another as a result of his growing worries for his family’s safety as reported by the People. King Charles was noticeably absent during Harry’s May visit to the United Kingdom to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a momentous occasion for him. The prince’s representative stated that the King’s “full schedule” was the reason the two did not meet. Insiders close to Prince Harry, however, point to a deeper problem: Harry’s continuous struggle for security, which he feels Charles, at 75, can finally win. Harry is still persuaded that security is not in Charles’s control, even if Buckingham Palace says that idea is “wholly incorrect.”

Security Concerns and Communication Breakdown

Severe tensions have characterized the public rift among the royal family that started in 2020 when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle withdrew from their official positions. Harry still finds that security is a major source of contention. After King Charles’s cancer diagnosis in February, the father and son had a productive meeting, but their contact has since soured. There are reports that Harry’s father does not return his calls or letters. “He gets ‘unavailable right now,’ his calls go unanswered,” said a friend of Harry’s. He has made attempts to inquire about the King’s condition, but his calls are also not returned.”

Prince Harry worries deeply about the security of his spouse Meghan and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Reports suggest that Harry has asked his father for assistance on several occasions. “Harry is scared and feels his father is the only one who can do anything about it,” a royal insider says. It says, according to another insider, “Harry is determined to protect his own family at all costs.”

Prince Harry voiced concerns about bad press possibly encouraging violence against his wife in the July 25 ITV documentary “Tabloids on Trial,” which further emphasized his misgivings. He explained, “All it takes is one lone actor,” for not having moved his family back to the United Kingdom. Harry intends to file an appeal despite losing his attempt earlier this year to reinstate taxpayer-funded security.

It is still up for debate as to what exactly keeps Harry from getting the protection he needs. The Executive Committee for the Security of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) is in charge of providing police security for public figures, although the queen is not legally empowered to govern the United Kingdom. Harry’s promise to pay for his police security was also turned down in court. This is a contentious belief, but he thinks Charles may step in as King. A friend reports that the King has now changed the topic of conversation from frustration to “complete silence”.

Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan, now residing in Montecito, California, suggest the palace is wary of history repeating itself. When Princess Diana left royal life, she overshadowed the institution. “Charles’ fear is a repeat of the past,” an insider reveals. “When his wife divorced the institution, she took the headlines, overshadowed his work, and became a global superstar. Seeing his son leave with his wife was not part of the plan.”

Safety has always been a primary concern for Harry and Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex has spoken about negative press and lack of royal support during her tenure as a working royal, even contemplating suicide. “The couple didn’t feel they had a choice,” says a friend. “The only option was to leave — for their sanity. They thought if they got out of this bubble, there would be less focus on them.”

Prince Harry left the Sandringham Summit in January 2020, certain that their security would not change as they transitioned to being non-working royals. The late Queen Elizabeth, who died on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, was quoted in court documents as saying that the Sussexes’ having “effective security” after their departure was “imperative”. However, weeks later Harry received word that their police protection had ended.

“The Queen made it clear that effective security was necessary due to the threats against them, but somewhere along the line there was interference,” a royal insider said. RAVEC, which is made up of representatives from the Home Office, Metropolitan Police, and Royal Household, implemented the security downgrade. Although King Charles does not directly participate in RAVEC, members of his staff do. According to a government spokesman, they offer “rigorous and proportionate” protection, keeping specifics private to preserve confidentiality and personal safety.
